Chapter OverviewFormed in 1986, Chapter 868 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) exists to encourage and promote those activities involved with the construction and flying of experimental aircraft, to promote and encourage aviation safety in design, construction and operation of all types of aircraft, and to foster, promote and engage in aviation education.Our members are very active in homebuilding -- over 85 percent of are either currently working on projects or flying their completed project. Current projects include "low n' slow" tube and fabric types, ultralights, composites and high performance all metal aircraft. New Member InformationJoing the chapter is easy!
